Chicago Philharmonic Society

The Chicago Philharmonic is Chicago’s premiere symphonic orchestra and chamber musicians’ group, Chicago Philharmonic Chamber Players, CP2. The Society has formed artistic relationships with the Ravinia Festival, Music Paradigm, and Salute to Vienna, and engaged in a number of outreach initiatives, such as providing the classical music component of Ravinia’s outreach program in the Chicago Public Schools. In 2012 the Society began serving as the official orchestra for the Joffrey Ballet, providing live music for all of their performances at the Auditorium Theater. In 2013, the Society welcomed Scott Speck, Music Director of the Joffrey Ballet, as its new Artistic Director.
