Evanston/Skokie District 65 Family Center

The Joseph E. Hill Early Childhood Education Center is an initiative of the Evanston/Skokie District 65 school district. With programs for children birth to age 3, the “Family Center” is designed to prepare children and families for entry into the elementary schools. Their programs include the Early Start Home Visiting Program and the Doorway to Learning Childcare Center.

Stephen B. Starr Design was commissioned to prepare this comprehensive educational/promotional brochure. The challenge — a bifurcated brand. The Family Center has their own unique brand mark and the JEH Early Childhood Education Center has theirs as well. On top of that, District 65 has the more widely known lighthouse mark. Three marks to identify one program — mission accomplished.
